Modular Hand prosthesis for sport practice
Challenge: Liam is pretty active, 6-years old. He does skiing with his friends, bike riding and would like to choose an instrument to play this summer, maybe a guitar? Having an agenesis on his right hand, he has difficulties doing those tasks. Liam would like to have a prosthesis adapted to his hand, which can help him hold a ski pole or a handlebar. This system is designed to be tight enough not to hurt him when falling and help him ski.
Solution: The designed modular orthosis allows him to spend quality leisure time. The video explaining the design of this orthosis can be watched here.
The project is released as open-source, and can be downloaded from this link below!
