About Willift

In a modular and adaptive approach, the Willift eases daily tasks such as eating, drinking or bringing the hand to the face for patients with limited upper limb mobility. Fixed on the armrest structure of the wheelchair, on a table or any planar structure, a vertical actuated movement allows to lift the patients’ elbow. The arm is maintained vertically and can be moved horizontally with convenience in a passive manner.

Current Goals

Looking for feedback: We are currently looking for feedback from patients, medical professionals or assistive technologies professionals.

Looking for new users: We are also searching for potential users that could test our prototype. This would assure that our work will benefit most people.

Improve the prototype: We are working hard to improve our prototype on several points: fixation, size, encapsulation, new degrees of freedom, modularity... Stay tuned!
